What happens to Topics with more than the permitted number of tags?

We have had our allowable number of tags set at 10.

We are considering lowering it back to 5 (or even lower).

What will happen to the topics that already have more than 5 tags? My guess is that they continue to exist as they are, but as soon as someone tries to edit the tags on those topics the user won’t be able to close the tag interface until they lower it to the threshold.

Is that what happens?

I believe your previous topics will remain with all the tags used ie 10 tags.

As admin & Moderators can iirc exceed the set limit. Well admins for sure.
