Why doesn't Tweet unicode show in my browser?

This just popped into my feed in twitter (retweeded by codinghorror I believe). Not sure if it should be better displayed on discourse?

It’s just you. On Windows 10 (latest updates) and chrome latest, I see

Installing the latest version of Symbola is all that is needed under Linux:

http://users.teilar.gr/~g1951d/

(Typically Linux fonts can be installed in a lot of locations, but ~/.fonts/ is easiest.)

Symbola is a ttf format font, and should work under Windows, too.

Checked in on my Ubuntu machine and works as is. Can be closed.
