Likes list prevent scrolling on touch device

jesus2099 reports that on a touch device, starting to drag over the heart or grey heart icon of their own post when someone has liked it prevents scrolling and shows who liked their post. This issue was tested by multiple users with varying results. maiki couldn’t reproduce it on Chrome/PWA on Android, while supermathie was able to reproduce it on Firefox 116.3.0 PWA. jesus2099 is using Kiwi Browser 116.0.5845.72 (based on Chromium). Canapin created a video demonstrating the steps to reproduce the issue, which jesus2099 confirmed as accurate. The issue occurs when long pressing the reaction number or grey heart icon and then trying to scroll the window.

Continuing the discussion from Discourse Reactions accidental likes:

Now this behaviour is fixed, but if you start dragging over the heart of your own post when someone has liked it, it prevents scrolling and shows who liked your post.

Still on mobile/touch device.

Maybe it’s more useful than bug…

Which browser and OS are you using for mobile? Chrome/PWA on Android is not doing this for me; I might also not understand how to reproduce it.

It’s also before opening the user list popup, of you start dressing on that grey heart, the scrolling is prevented and the popup appears.

Hi jesus,

Is the the behavior you encounter?

Steps:

  1. Long press the reaction number

  2. Without lifting your finger, try scrolling the window

  3. The window doesn’t scroll

Note: it doesn’t happen if you touch the heart itself; only the number.
