Best way to go about using another word for "Topic" (in French)

I’m giving serious thought to using “publication” or “publi” (or “post”) instead of “sujet” in my French-language community. Coming from Facebook, people are used to saying “publi”, and to make matters worse, Facebook plays around with topics ( = tags) once in a while in groups, and those are also called “sujets” in French. And really, “sujet” is such a common word in conversation (as it is in English, by the way, maybe even more) that for me it just creates confusion for people.

So, how would I go about doing this? Do I need to click through each of these in the long list – and how do I access the “>50 results” strings I also need to replace? Is there a more efficient way of doing this?
