We’re using a dark header on our site (not Stonehearth) with the value of #40404 . To ensure text could still be read, we changed the header primary to be #ffffff . We just noticed that tags do not seem to be given the #ffffff color.

Perhaps @sam can take a look as he is working on user-selectable color themes at the moment.

This is not perfect cause the box style on dark is far from ideal, but fixes the issue for bullet and simple.
