Comments appear first when we open the topic

Hi All,
When a user comments on the post & the next time you open it, it first shows the comment to the old/new user. I have to scroll up to the top to see the whole article. Because of this, the user might get confused & skip the article.
How can we rest this so that the article starts from the top only?

Kindly help.

Scrolling to the “comments”/replies only happens if you’ve previously read the topic, so Discourse remembers where you stopped reading and lets you continue from there.

So if a user has already read the OP (original post), they’ll just start from the replies. For a user reading the topic for the first time, they’ll start from the top.

And I believe there is also a category setting “scroll to the top after reading”
