I’m trying to find a way to customize the weight of categories in terms of their prominence in the main forum home page — i.e. the list of latest posts.
I know it’s possible to change a category’s weight for search, but is there any way to do something similar for that home page feed?
Specifically, we have one category that tends to be a bit more random and less directly connected to the forum’s primary purpose. It’s fine to exist, but it’d be nice if posts from it didn’t show up as high as other posts when people look at that main home page list of the latest activity.
I haven’t found any settings for this, but maybe I’m missing something. Does anyone know if there’s any way to accomplish what I’m envisioning and make a specific category less prominent instead of having that main home page list always be purely chronological across all topics?
