Gamefication scoring for portuguese forum?

Currently, the following events award cheers:

• Daily visits
• Flags accepted
• Likes given
• Likes received
• Posts created
• Posts read
• Solutions accepted (requires Discourse Solved (Accepted answer plugin))
• Time read
• Topics created
• User invites accepted

There’s a writing Discourse forum which has the following dynamics:

Basically:

making a new post costs 3 credits, while answering gives you from 0.5 up to 2 credits, depending on how many words your answer had (they are trying to force deep feedback).

I have a similar project in Portuguese and would love it if our forum had this same dynamics specifically for the feedback category and a 1:1 proportion on other categories. Can this plugin make it happen?

From what I can tell, this isn’t directly supported by the plugin. It would be possible to build a new plugin using the code for reference:

GitHub - discourse/discourse-gamification

But you don’t need a lot of what that plugin offers. A minimal version could be:

1. Code that updates a users credits after they post.
2. An added stat displayed on the profile.
3. A check to verify the user has enough credits to ask/start a topic.

We’re not financially sustainable yet, but I’ve been working pretty hard on that. Just so I have an idea for when the time comes, how much would this work cost me?

I work with clients to scope projects to their specific budget. The minimal version I described would be the least expensive, of course. Additional features would add to the cost. The good news is that you could probably take an iterative approach to pay as you go. I’ll send a PM, but you might want to get several bids.
