How do I make my gallery?

I am building a web site heavily based on images and videos that people will comment on. There will also be text and audio as subjects of discussion, which perhaps I will also have people represent with images. So I will have to build a gallery application.

I followed the beginners plugin guide and downloaded some plugins.

I guess I will make a Handlebar template with plugin outlets in spots where I want to inject my stuff. Then I guess I write Javascript to do the actual image gallery (or more probably take one of the many free Javascript image galleries out there).

Am I way off base here or is that it?

It doesn’t sound completely insane, so you’re probably on the right track! The more code-savvy people around here will have an easier time lending you a hand once you’ve come far enough to start breaking stuff and need help fixing it :wink:
