How to use variable in img tag

With markdown it’s possible to set a variable for a image down your post but I will set a image in the list with an html tag what it makes impossible to use the variable as in markdown is there anyway to do this with html like the src tag but how can I do this so

Markdown

So how can I arcieveve this in html

You can’t reference an image with a variable like this in HTML, it’s a markdown specific feature.
