If I visit the user profile page it just says
This user’s public profile is hidden.
I’d like to ignore them via this:

You can also ignore users in your preferences. For this forum, the direct link is https://meta.discourse.org/my/preferences/users, but I think as a new user you aren’t allowed to ignore, so you won’t see this here.
