One of my users suggested a small feature tweak. He says he often finds himself writing a long post and discovering after he submits that he wants to edit it. That’s easy, of course, except that if it’s a long post, he has to search through the compose window for the text he wants to edit, which he was just looking at in the post display.
His suggestion is that if you select some text but ignore the Quote button and instead click the Edit pencil, the compose window should scroll to display the selected text.
No idea if this is at all feasible or worth the effort—just passing it on.
