Keyboard navigation messes up the search menu

Reproduction

1. Load https://meta.discourse.org/latest
   

   

2. Press j to select the first topic
   

   

3. Press / to open the search box
   

   

4. Type stuff + return to search
   

   

5. Press the ↓ to select + return to open the first search result

Behaviors

• Expected: the first search result to open – Anything else on same Digital Ocean droplet as Discourse?

• Actual: the first topic on the latest page opens instead – Install Discourse on macOS for development

This will be fixed in the glimmer search menu via

FIX: Redirect to highlighted search result on `Enter`

I will add a fix for the widget search menu as well as it is pretty straightforward.

The Glimmer search menu has been made the new default which resolves this issue. We are good to close
