I have two communities within one invite-only forum, but they don’t speak each other’s language. To address this, I’ve created a separate group for each language and plan to include invite links on their respective language blogs. I’ve done some testing, and this setup works really well for my niche.
I still have a couple of open questions:

Can I add something like ?lang=es at the end of a group invite link so that Discourse automatically opens in the correct language from the start?

Will my users receive system emails and notifications in their language if I use ?lang=es, or will it depend on their browser language? I know they can set it up in their profile’s preferences, but… Since my communities don’t speak each other’s language, they might have a hard time to find that setting and I want to avoid any confusion.
I’ve noticed that this forum handles both very well, I receive notifications and emails in my language, and the UI was fully translated from the moment I opened the website. Are there any specific settings I need to enable to achieve this as well?
