With the latest Discourse update a user does no longer see a new post to his topic immediately. He needs to reload the site to see the post. Any hints where to look for the bug?
Logs show lots of these errors:
TypeError: can't access dead object

Does the problem persist in safe mode? Do you have any unofficial plugins?

Thanks for your help! Safe mode works and I could narrow it down to the custom theme (?safe_mode=no_custom works). So I disable all components one by one or is there a better way? Thanks so much!
Disable all components one by one, then once you find the component, comment out half, then a quarter … till you find the problem.
