I clicked on reply content (from home page), but it didn’t go to reply post. Only when I clicked on topic title did it go to new post.

Clicking on reply content (from home page), but not going to reply post, will affect user experience, users don’t achieve their purpose, and have to scroll to see more.

I really hope @dsims or the author of discourse can fix this component, allowing users to move to the latest post after clicking on the post (from the home page)

2 things to note:

  1. Discourse was created by a group of people, not 1.
  2. The Discourse team won’t fix this, since it isn’t official.

Thanks for pointing this out. I updated it so the latest-post-excerpt links to the latest-post. :rocket:

@dsims please. how can I make it show in some categories (I mean only allow Latest-Post Excerpt to show in certain categories)

I’ll try to add that capability soon. (Someone did submit a PR for that a while ago)
