I think @nekodroid experienced this without wanting Auto Ads to show up. Sounds like people will need to be careful when configuring a new site in AdSense.

I’m not clear on the status of Auto Ads because its documentation is vague… But it might “Just Work” now according to this post:

It might, but my expriences were mixed. I enabled in in production on a small site that I reserve for this kind of tinkering.

• I was never able to see an ad myself. Impossible to verify what the algo is actually doing and how is the UX.
• AdSense reports however did show auto ads impressions. According to the report the rate of visibility was improved in comparison to my manual setup (top banner for index, bottom for topics)
• The generated revenue sunk like 90%.

Removed it, but still very much interested in learning more. This would be so much more elegant way of dealing with the ads.

Is there anyway to show the adsense auto ads directly inside posts content too? right now they only show after each post ends. my site has long posts so ads CTR is very poor, any help?

Is there any possibility to show adsense ads inside posts content in random spots on posts content? On my site, most topics and posts are very long and detailed e.g like https://howtodiscuss.com/t/what-is-keto-diet/15595 hence the CTR of ads is very poor because ads only show either on start of topic or at bottom when the long post ends, i want to also show ads inside my post content. can u add this feature in this plugin please? Also, how do i show a sticky fixed 300x250 size ad on my right …

Wondering the same. I also use Discourse like a blog, so posts are really long. A way to add ads in the post content would be great.
